PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rising sophomore diver
Bailee Sturgill will be representing Team USA at the 2025Â World Aquatic Championships in Singapore on July 26-August 3. Sturgill will team up with Lily Witte of Indiana on women's synchronized 3M.

In her first season as a Scarlet Knight in 2024-25, Sturgill qualified for the NCAA Championships on 1M, 3M and platform as Rutgers sent a school record four Scarlet Knights to NCAAs. Sturgill was crowned the NCAA Zone A platform champion and at the Big Ten Championships, she led the Scarlet Knights in qualifying for finals on both 1M and platform.Â
In mid-May at the USA Diving Championships, Sturgill won gold as co-champion on women's synchronized 3M and teamed up with classmate
Katerina Hoffman to take bronze on women's synchronized platform. The Noblesville, Indiana, native was also a finalist on senior women's 3M, placing fifth.
More recently, the rising sophomore joined Hoffman to take gold in women's synchronized platform, won silver with Witte on women's synchronized 3M and placed eighth on women's 3M at the 2025 Canada Diving Cup.
World Aquatic Championship women's synchronized 3M prelims will get underway on Monday, July 28 with finals on Tuesday, July 29.
