WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Several student-athletes from Rutgers wrestling competed at the Bloomsburg Open on Saturday at Liberty Arena in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
Competing unattached, Jordan Chapman (174) and Joseph Olivieri (141) won individual titles in their respective weight classes. Olivieri went 4-0, including a win by fall and two by tech fall. Chapman went 3-0 en route to his individual title over Connor Wetzel (Lock Haven).
Easton Doster (157) also shined competing unattached, finishing with a 4-1 record to place third in his bracket. The lone attached wrestler was Max Hermes (157), who picked up two victories at the open.
