Sturgill and Hoffman to Compete at World Aquatics World Cup

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – A pair of Rutgers divers are heading to Montreal this weekend to compete in a USA Diving event. Katerina Hoffman and Bailee Sturgill will compete at the 2026 World Aquatics World Cup Stop One.

The event will be held in Montreal, Canada, with competition overall spanning from February 26 to March 1. Hoffman and Sturgill were both selected to the US roster to compete together in the women's 10-meter synchronized dive portion. That event is slated for finals on Saturday, beginning at 12:30 pm. The event will have a stream available via Peacock.

The pair previously most recently competed at a USA Diving event in Texas back in December. Sturgill and Hoffman teamed up to earn a silver medal there in the Winter Nationals Synchronized Platform event.

The duo are coming off of a strong performance last week at the Big Ten Championships. Hoffman had two podium finishes (1M and 3M dive) while Sturgill also joined her on the platform in the 1M dive.
