#11 Women's Rowing Competes At Ivy League Invitational

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The #11 Rutgers women's rowing schedule continues with the Ivy League Invitational on Saturday, hosted by Princeton on the Raritan River. The Scarlet Knights will take on #7 Virginia and #9 Brown in the morning session and meet up with #6 Princeton and Cornell in the afternoon.

Rutgers opened the 2026 season two weeks at the Doc Hosea Invitational against #3 Yale, #12 Syracuse and #16 Penn on the Cooper River down in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
Two of the Scarlet Knight boats were named Big Ten Boats of the Week for their performance at Doc Hosea. The Varisty 4+ placed second and was only 0.5 seconds behind the first-place boat from #3 Yale and outstroked #16 Penn by 14.2 seconds in the morning session, while in the afternoon, RU earned the victory, edging #12 Syracuse by 7.7 seconds
The Third Varsity 4, meanwhile, won both sessions at Doc Hosea. In the morning, RU outpaced #3 Yale by 49.5 seconds and #12 Syracuse by 52.5 seconds. Later in the day, the Scarlet Knights met up again with Orange and bested #12 Syracuse with a 54.2-second margin of victory.
Rutgers women's rowing heads to the Big Ten Invitational on April 18-19 in Gold River, California. Participating teams include Cal, Gonzaga, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Notre Dame, Ohio Sate, Oregon State, Sacramento State, San DIego, Stanford, UCLA, USC, Washington, Washington State and Wisconsin.
