Volleyball Unveils Full 2026 Schedule

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers volleyball announced its full 2026 schedule with the upcoming slate featuring 13 home dates "On The Banks".
All home dates will be played at Jersey Mike's Arena with the home regular season final on Nov. 13 versus Maryland at the College Ave Gym.

The season officially gets underway in Louisville, Kentucky with Evansville and host Bellarmine on Friday, Aug. 28 and Purdue - Fort Wayne on Saturday, Aug. 29.
RU will then travel to Nashville, Tennessee, for the highly anticipated debut of the Big Ten/SEC Challenge. The Scarlet Knights will face Arkansas on Tuesday, Sept. 1 and take on Vanderbilt on Wednesday, Sept. 2.
The home portion of the schedule gets underway with Rutgers making its 2026 Jersey Mike's debut Tuesday, Sept. 8 against LIU, followed by home dates with Stony Brook on Thursday, Sept. 10, Delaware on Friday, Sept. 11 and Rider on Saturday, Sept. 12.
The Scarlet Knights close out nonconference competition on the road in Queens, New York with Bryant and Penn on Friday, Sept. 18 and host St. John's on Saturday, Sept. 19.
As previously announced, the Big Ten slate kicks off with a pair of road games late in September. RU travels to Nebraska on Friday, Sept. 25, for the start of conference play and heads to Iowa on Saturday, Sept. 26.
Rutgers opens October on the road at Ohio State on Thursday, Oct. 1 and returns home for a three-game stretch, including Indiana on Sunday, Oct. 4, during Homecoming Weekend, Minnesota on Friday, Oct. 9 and UCLA on Saturday, Oct. 10. The Scarlet Knights head west to meet up with Washington on Friday, Oct. 16 and Oregon on Sunday, Oct. 18. RU will host Michigan State on Friday, Oct. 23 and Illinois on Saturday, Oct. 24 and close out the month heading to Purdue on Thursday, Oct. 29 and Northwestern on Saturday, Oct. 31.

Rutgers welcomes Michigan on Thursday, Nov. 5, USC on Saturday, Nov. 7, Wisconsin on Wednesday, Nov. 11, and Maryland in the home regular season finale on Friday, Nov. 13. RU travels to Penn State on Tuesday, Nov. 17, to close out the regular season.
The Big Ten Tournament will be held November 20-25, 2026, at Fishers Event Center, home of Major League Volleyball's Indy Ignite, with the top 15 teams in the regular-season standings qualifying for the tournament.
