Olivia Fraticelli Named Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers field hockey senior Olivia Fraticelli was named the Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week today following the opening weekend of the field hockey season.
Fraticelli led the RU offense with four goals overall across the first two games of the season. The Toms River, N.J. native scored the first goal of RU's 2026 on Friday at No. 18 Monmouth. On Sunday, the senior forward had a hat trick, scoring three goals in a road win at Wagner. It was a career-high for goals in a game for Fraticelli and the first RU hat trick since October 6, 2024 (Paulina Niklaus vs. Indiana).
Fraticelli, who scored on all four shots she took on the weekend, leads the NCAA and Big Ten in goals through the first two games of the season. She also leads the Big Ten with eight points.
Fraticelli, who shares the honor with Iowa's Frederique van Cleef, has 15 career goals for RU across 42 games as a Scarlet Knight. She is RU's leading returning scorer with 11 goals and 24 points last season. Fraticelli was a member of the NFHCA Collegiate Watch List ahead of the season.
