2019 (Junior at Nebraska): Appeared in six games with two starts at quarterback … earned Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and Academic All-Big Ten honors … went 34-for-52 passing for 418 yards … added 106 rushing yards on 30 attempts with three touchdowns … completed 14-of-16 passes for 201 yards with two rushing scores plus a 22-yard reception versus Indiana (10/26) … earned first collegiate start at Minnesota (10/12) and went 14-of-23 passing for 135 yards, long completion of 51, and rushed for 49 yards … rushed for 33 yards and passed for 41 yards in relief, including leading a game-winning drive, against Northwestern (10/5) … contributed a 3-yard rushing touchdown in addition to 30 passing yards on three completions versus Northern Illinois (9/14).

2018 (Sophomore at Nebraska): Played in one game ... initially ruled ineligible after transfer before waiver granted immediate eligibility on Oct. 12 … made Nebraska debut in the win over Bethune-Cookman (10/27), recording a rushing touchdown with 13 yards on the ground and 29 passing yards.

2017 (Freshman at UCF): Appeared in eight games as the backup quarterback for Knights, who went 13-0 as the nation’s only undefeated team … completed 22-of-29 passes for 276 yards and one touchdown … added 77 rushing yards and two touchdowns on the ground … had a 46-yard completion at Temple (11/18) … notched first career passing touchdown on a 35-yard strike versus Connecticut (11/11) … went 4-for-5 passing for 72 yards and rushed for a touchdown against Austin Peay (10/28) … completed all four passing attempts and recorded a 13-yard rushing score versus East Carolina (10/14) … made collegiate debut against FIU (8/31) and went 10-for-12 passing for 79 yards.

Prior to College: Played for coach Tim Turman, his grandfather, at Bishop Neumann … passed for 4,561 career yards while adding 2,250 rushing yards and accounting for 6,811 yards of total offense and 77 total touchdowns … threw for 2,001 yards and rushed for 739 yards as a senior in 2016 to earned All-Nebraska accolades from the Omaha World-Herald … helped Bishop Neumann finish as the Class C-1 runner-up … a three-star prospect and the No. 5 player in Nebraska by 247Sports and ESPN … also played high school basketball and collected third-team All-Nebraska honors as a senior when Bishop Neumann won the C-1 state championship.

Personal: Father Mike (1990-92) and uncles Jon (1994-96), Mark (1998-01) and Matt (1994-96) are all Nebraska football letterwinners … earned undergraduate degree in communications studies from Nebraska in May 2020 ... studying as a graduate student in the communication, information and media program.
