The Scarlet Walk occurs two hours and 15 minutes before kickoff at the ‘Birthplace of College Football’ Statue outside of the North Gate.

Head over to Scarlet Knight Way before each home game to enjoy several of your favorite food trucks in New Jersey, experience free rides, win prizes and take in the entertainment. Rutgers fans will have the opportunity to enjoy their favorite elements of Jersey boardwalks right here in Piscataway. The Rutgers Boardwalk opens four hours before kickoff. A mobile locker truck will be parked at the corner of Scarlet Knight Way and Sutphen Road on football game day. The truck will be open for business 2-hours before kick-off for fans to store their bags. Fans can purchase a locker for $12 via credit/debit card, Apple Pay/Google Pay – cash transactions will NOT be accepted.

Watch the game in comfort! Knight Kushions are available on a game-by-game rental. Rental Location is at the North Gate Concourse above section 113/114.

The 50/50 raffle starts 3 hours before kick off and ends after the 3rd quarter. Sellers will be on foot and kiosks, located behind sections 101, 116, 126 and 131. The winning number will be announced during the 4th quarter. The winner does NOT need to be present to win. REVELXP brings its flagship turnkey tailgating services to Scarlet Knight fans this season. The turnkey tailgate packages include a tent, table, and chairs as well as premium add-ons, such as catering, TVs, coolers and more. More information on REVELXP tailgating experiences can be found here.

Official Rutgers merchandise may be purchased at the following locations - Sections 107, 108, 115, 116, 119, 120, 125, 126, 130, 131, 218. Guests can purchase gear via credit/debit card, Apple Pay/Google Pay – cash transactions will NOT be accepted. 

First Aid stations are located at Section 116 and 200 level concourses.

SHI Stadium is now cashless at all merchandise and concession stands, and now the ticket office and parking lots. Only credit or debits cards will be accepted. A cash-to-card kiosk (no fees) is available at section 113 to convert cash to a debit card. Cards can be loaded for any value up to $500 and cards will work anywhere in the U.S. that accepts MasterCard. No cardholder information is gathered, while purchases and refunds are handled like any other credit card.

Food trucks on The Rutgers Boardwalk determine their own payment system and may accept cash.

On football game day, guests can utilize the “Just-Walk-Out” technology to purchase snacks and drinks at the concession’s booth behind section 128 on the east side of SHI Stadium. Guests can enter the store with their credit card or tap to pay. Guests can also sign up at the kiosk located next to the stand and use their palm to enter the store.
