Prior to Rutgers: Coached by Bret Stover at Upper Dublin … played quarterback during scholastic career … led the Cardinals to a 14-1 record, PIAA District 1 5A Championship, Suburban One Continental Conference Championship and state semifinal appearance as a senior in 2022 … finished senior season with 2,946 passing yards, 36 touchdowns and four interceptions, while completing 67 percent of passes … named Class 5A Eastern PA Football Player of the Year, First Team All-State by both coaches and writers, Montgomery Media Football Athlete of the Year, PA Mini Max Award Winner … led Upper Dublin to a 9-3 record and appearance in District 1 5A Quarterfinals in junior season … completed 71 percent of passes for 1,856 yards and 21 touchdowns, also rushing for 302 yards and four scores … named 5A All-State and All-Eastern PA First Team ... also a standout basketball player for the Cardinals, starting at point guard for three seasons and being named all-league.
