2016 Academic All-Big Ten

2016 (Senior): Played in four games on special teams ... named to the Academic All-Big Ten list (12/7) ... made a tackle in season finale at Maryland (11/26) ... honored on Senior Night prior to game versus No. 9 Penn State (11/19) ... recovered a fumble on punt coverage late in the fourth quarter at Minnesota (10/22) ... also had two tackles against the Golden Gophers ... made season debut on special teams versus No. 4 Michigan (10/8).

2015 (Junior): Appeared in all 12 games ... contributed on special teams and saw time at linebacker ... assisted on a stop versus Maryland (11/28) ... made a tackle at Wisconsin (10/31) and at No. 16 Michigan (11/7) ... recorded a tackle on special teams versus No. 4 Michigan State (10/10) and Indiana (10/17) ... made two solo stops with one for a loss in debut for Rutgers against Norfolk State (9/5) ... enrolled at Rutgers in January with three years of eligibility to play two seasons ... participated in spring practice.

Prior to Rutgers: Coached by George Rush at City College of San Francisco and Hardy Nickerson at Bishop O'Dowd in Oakland, Calif. ... played middle linebacker in junior college and made all the calls ... additionally a key special teams member ... named First Team Region I All-California Community College and First Team All-Bay 6 Conference at linebacker in 2014 ... led team with 72 tackles, also totaling 10.5 tackles-for-loss, 2.5 sacks, five pass break-ups and a fumble recovery over 13 games ... helped CCSF to 11-2 record, Northern California title and California junior college state title games ... played in seven games as a freshman ... played mostly running back in high school and added linebacker as a senior ... rushed for 510 yards as a senior on offense and totaled 87 tackles on defense.
