Jake Dadika

A four-year letterwinner and 2017-18 team captain, Jake Dadika is a graduate assistant with the men’s basketball program. The New Jersey native is enrolled in the Global Sports Business graduate program after earning a finance degree.
 
In his role, Dadika works with the coaching and support staff in all aspects of the program. Among his duties are to assist with film breakdown, practice execution, administrative tasks and the Steve Pikiell Basketball Camps.
 
Dadika played in 53 career games in Scarlet & White, following in the footsteps of his father. Rick Dadika scored 1,023 points at Rutgers from 1985-90 under Bob Wenzel and was named Third Team All-Atlantic 10 and to the league’s all-tournament team while helping the Scarlet Knights to the 1989 A-10 title and an NCAA tournament berth. A well-known Garden State basketball family, the Dadikas boast six family members to score over 1,000 career high school points.
 
A 2014 graduate of Spotswood (N.J.) High School, Dadika was a Newark Star Ledger First Team All-Middlesex County and Home News Tribune Second Team All-Area honoree after leading Middlesex County in scoring as a senior. He helped the Chargers to their first GMC Blue Division title, while posting 1,693 points as the school’s all-time leading scorer.
