Elyse Washington started her career at Rutgers University in Student Affairs in 2008, before joining the Athletics staff in 2021. She currently serves as the Assistant Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Development and Success with Scarlet Knights For Life (SKFL).
In he role, she works with Student-Athlete Advisory Commitee, coordinates all community engagement for student-athletes and serves as the liaison for community partners including Elijah's Promise and New Brunswick Public Schools. Washington manages all student-athlete personal enrichment as well, specifically experiential trips.
Washington graduated from Rutgers Douglass College in 2008. Washington resides in Somerset, New Jersey with her spouse, Kyle, who also graduated from Rutgers in 2013.
