Allison Lynch joined the Rutgers staff in 2024 after completing a remarkable playing career "On the Banks." Lynch joined the staff as a director of player development and served as an assistant coach during the 2024 season.
In 2024, Lynch helped guide Rutgers to its 13th consecutive NCAA Tournament and its fourth Big Ten Tournament Championship since joining the conference in 2014.
Lynch played for the Scarlet Knights from 2019-23, graduating as the school record holder for a field player with 8,597 minutes played. She concluded her career with 102 matches played while playing in 100 percent of RU's matches over that span.
Lynch was part of the historic 2021 season that saw Rutgers win the school's first Big Ten Championship after an undefeated, 10-0 run through the conference regular season.
She earned four Academic All-Big Ten awards as a student-athlete.
