Chelsea Kameno joined Rutgers Athletics in March of 2021 as an Athletic Trainer, working with the volleyball and has previously also handled athletic training duties for the swimming and diving program.
Kameno came to Rutgers after spending the previous four years with Professional Physical Therapy in New York. During that time, she worked as a clinical athletic trainer, designing and supervising therapeutic exercise program for post-surgical patients. She also served as an outreach athletic trainer at the Trinity School.
Kameno earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from George Mason in 2016. She then earned her Master’s in Athletic Training-Advanced Clinical Practice from East Strousburg University. While at East Strousburg, she worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer, with primary responsibilities for the three-time PSAC champion women’s soccer program and the men’s basketball team.
