Davis, Good to Leave Rutgers

The 6-7, 185-pound Davis played in 10 games this season, and averaged 2.5 ppg. and 1.5 rpg. while averaging 6.2 minutes of action per game.
Davis is a Washington, DC native who played last season at Laurinburg Institute in Laurinburg, NC.
“Cortez has decided that it is in his best interests to leave at this time,” Waters said. “We support Cortez in this decision and will do everything in our power to help him in his future endeavors.”
“I would like to thank Coach Waters, the coaching staff and my teammates for their support and I wish them the best,” said Davis. “Right now, I just need some time to sort out my future plans.”
IN ADDITION, WATERS announced that junior center Harry Good has left the men’s basketball program and will seek to transfer to another institution.
The 6-9, 245-pound Good saw action in four games for the Scarlet Knights. Good, a native of Baldwin, NY played last season at Fresno City College.
“Harry expressed to me a desire to continue his basketball career at another institution and we will help him as much as possible,” said Waters. “We wish Harry all the best in his future.”
“I want to wish Coach Waters and the team success the rest of the season,” said Good. “This is strictly a basketball decision.”
