Quincy Douby Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

PISCATAWAY, NJ - Rutgers guard Quincy Douby (Brooklyn, NY) was named to the BIG EAST’s Weekly Honor Roll for the second consecutive week after leading the Scarlet Knights to a second place finish in the South Padre Island Invitational.
The 6-3 junior scored 19 points in Rutgers’ 55-52 win over Kent State and scored a season-high 21 points in the championship game vs. No. 15/14 Illinois. Douby leads Scarlet Knights in scoring with a 17.3 points per game average.
Rutgers (3-1) returns to action Wednesday night when it hosts Temple (2-1) at 7:30 p.m. at the RAC.
