SAAC Holiday Book and Toy Drive Extended

Rutgers basketball fans will have an additional opportunity to participate in the annual Holiday Toy and Book Drive, sponsored by the Rutgers Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), on this Saturday, Dec. 17, when the Scarlet Knights host South Carolina State in a 7:30 tipoff at the Rutgers Athletic Center. Toy and book dropoff points will be available in the RAC.
Fans who plan to participate in the Holiday Toy and Book Drive should bring toys and books (new and unwrapped) for children ages 3-5 years old. The toys and books will be donated to Head Start programs in Middlesex County and Somerset County. The SAAC's goal is to gather toys and books for approximately 500 children.
