Fall Hoop Festival Set for November 9-10

PISCATAWAY, NJ - Rutgers Basketball will host the Scarlet Knights Fall Hoop Festival, a clinic for boys and girls in grades second through eighth, on Thursday, November 9 and Friday, November 10 at the Rutgers Athletic Center. Rutgers new head men's basketball coach Fred Hill and head women's basketball coach C. Vivian Stringer will be heading the clinic, which will run form 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. each of the two days.
Also on hand to tutor the youngsters will be members of the Scarlet Knight men's and women's basketball teams as well as a host of varsity basketball coaches from high schools throughout the state of New Jersey.
The clinic will stress fundamentals and will also include drills, lectures, motivation, academics, games and individual instruction. All participants will receive a T-Shirt, self improvement workout program, two tickets to a Rutgers men's and women's game (games to be announced later).
