PISCATAWAY, NJ - Single game tickets for the upcoming 2006-07 Rutgers Men's and Women's Basketball season will go on sale on Wednesday, Nov. 1.
Tickets are available at the Rutgers Ticket Office in the Louis Brown Athletic Center, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. Tickets may also be purchased over the phone by calling the Ticket Office at 1-800-445-GORU (4678), from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are also available online at the official web-site for Rutgers Athletics, www.scarletknights.com
The Scarlet Knights men's team, under first-year head coach Fred Hill, will begin the season with an exhibition match-up against Caldwell College on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at 7:30 p.m., at the RAC. The regular season will tip-off will be on Wednesday, Nov. 15, at 7:30 p.m., when the Scarlet Knights' host Kansas State.
Veteran coach C. Vivian Stringer will lead the Rutgers women's into action on Saturday, Nov. 4, at 2:00 p.m., with an exhibition game against the Houston Jaguars at the RAC. The official 2006-07 season-opener will be on Sunday, Nov. 12, against Georgia at the State Farm Tip-off Classic. The game, scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. start, will be nationally televised on ESPN2.
