Men's Basketball TV Schedule Set

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Rutgers University men's basketball team will have three nationally televised games, and will make at least 16 television appearances, during the upcoming 2006-07 season. The Scarlet Knights' games at Villanova on Feb. 24, and at home vs. Notre Dame on Mar. 3, will be televised by ESPN. ESPN2 will televise Rutgers' game at North Carolina on Dec. 28. Additions to the television schedule will be announced at a later date.
The Scarlet Knights, under the direction of first-year head coach Fred Hill, will begin the season with an exhibition match-up against Caldwell College on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at 7:30 p.m., at the RAC. The regular season will tip-off on Wednesday, Nov. 15, at 7:30 p.m., when the Scarlet Knights host Big 12 foe Kansas State.
