Rutgers Men's Basketball Announces Camp Dates

PISCATAWAY, NJ - The Rutgers University men's basketball program has announced its 2006 summer camp dates. The Evening Team Camp will take place June 11-15, the Overnight Team Camp is slated for June 30-July 2, while the day camp will be held July 17-21. The Scarlet Knight basketball staff, under the direction of head coach Fred Hill, will direct each of the camps.
All three camps will take place at the RAC on five regulation size courts.
The Evening Team Camp (June 11-15) will take place from 6:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. all five nights. Each team will play two games per night for a total of 10 games. Every participant will receive a camp T-shirt. Guest speakers will provide daily lectures regarding all phases of the development of college basketball players on all levels. The cost per team is $495.00.
The Overnight Team Camp (June 30-July 2) will take place Friday evening through Sunday afternoon. There will be two divisions (Varsity and Sub-Varsity) and each team will play six games. Every player will receive a reversible jersey and all meals are included. The cost is $195.00 per player (minimum eight players per team).
The Day Camp (July 17-21) will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for boys entering second through ninth grade. Each player will receive a camp T-shirt, camp ball, and a self-improvement workout. Each day will encompass basketball games, drills and contests. Early arrivals and late dismissals are available and campers bring their own lunch. The cost per camper is $225.00.
