Men's Basketball to Hold Walk-On Tryouts Thursday

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Rutgers men's basketball program will hold walk-on tryouts on Thursday, October 4 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Louis Brown Athletic Center.
The tryout is open to current, full-time students that have pre-registered. Walk-ups will not be given the opportunity to try out. In order to register, male students must send an email to dengreg@scarletknights.com or call the men's basketball office at (732) 445-7859. Students must have 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. available in their daily schedule to be considered for the team.
Once registered, potential Scarlet Knights must come to the RAC on Thursday ready to play (sneakers, shorts, t-shirt) with their fall 2007 class schedule in hand. Candidates must also bring proof of a physical signed by a physician dated within one calendar year of the tryout.
