Oct 15 | Men's Basketball
PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Rutgers Men's Basketball, in conjunction with the NJSIAA and NJSCA, will host its annual the New Jersey Greats of the Game Coaches clinic on Friday and Saturday, October 17-18, at the Louis Brown Athletic Center. Among the Garden State hardwood mentors slated to participate are former Boston Celtics coach John Carroll, St. Patrick's High School Head Coach Kevin Boyle, Linden High School Head Coach Phil Colicchio and Rutgers Director of Player Development Danny Nee, who has 26 seasons of Division I head coaching experience.
"New Jersey basketball possesses and enables a history of insight and success that is simply unmatched," said Rutgers head coach Fred Hill. "We are very proud to facilitate the sharing of this legacy between the coaches that helped create it, with the coaches that maintain it through today's student-athletes."
The clinic will cover a wide range of topics, including scoring strategies, specialty plays, multiple defenses and basketball philosophy. The event marks the third straight year that the Scarlet Knights have hosted such a resource at the RAC.
Registration for the clinic is open to all coaches. For additional information and to download a registration form, complete schedule and directions, click here .
