Garden State Challenge Blooms This Weekend at the RAC

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Garden State Challenge kicks into full gear this weekend when the Rutgers men's basketball program hosts five games at the Louis Brown Athletic Center. The GSC features five Division I basketball teams from the Northeast: Rutgers, Delaware, Robert Morris, St. Bonaventure and Marist.
On Friday at the RAC, Atlantic 10 Conference-member St. Bonaventure plays Colonial Athletic Conference-member Delaware at 6:00 p.m. Twenty-five minutes after the conclusion of that game (approximately 8:00 p.m.), the Scarlet Knights host Northeast Conference foe Robert Morris. The tournament continues on Saturday with Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference-member Marist playing Robert Morris at 6:00 p.m.
The Garden State Challenge concludes at the RAC on Sunday. The Scarlet Knights play St. Bonaventure in a 2:00 p.m. contest, before Marist and Delaware tip-off at approximately 4:00 p.m. The game between the Red Foxes and Blue Hens will get underway 25 minutes after Sunday's first game concludes.
Tickets for Garden State Challenge games at the RAC can be purchased by calling 1-866-445-GORU (4678) or at http://tickets.scarletknights.com . Tickets for the Rutgers games on Friday and Sunday are good for both contests of the doubleheaders. Saturday's Robert Morris versus Marist game is a non-ticketed event, and fans are welcome to attend the contest free of charge.
