Rutgers Basketball Hosts Fall HoopFest

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Rutgers men's and women's basketball programs hosted its annual Scarlet Knights Fall Hoop Festival for boys and girls grades 2 through 8 on Thursday and Friday, November 6-7, at the Louis Brown Athletic Center. Head Coaches Fred Hill and C. Vivian Stringer oversaw a clinic staff comprised of Scarlet Knight coaches and student-athletes, as well as high school varsity coaches, in a clinic designed to stress fundamental basketball.
The clinic included drills, motivational lectures, academics, game performance and individual instruction. Members of the Rutgers men's and women's teams signed autographs on Friday. All participants received a Fall Hoop Festival t-shirt, tickets to a Rutgers men's and women's game, self improvement workout guide and membership to the Young Knights Club.
