Rutgers Announces "Tix the Season"

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (November 23, 2009) - Rutgers basketball fans will have the opportunity to purchase men's and women's tickets at a significant discount as part of an exciting "Tix the Season" promotion that will take place this Friday (Nov. 27) through Monday (Nov. 30). To celebrate the holidays, men's single game tickets will be available for purchase at a 40 percent discount, while women's tickets will be made available at a 33 percent discount.
Men's basketball tickets typically priced at $20.00 will be available for purchase at the "Tix the Season" rate of $12.00. The promotion includes 300 level seats only. All remaining games will available at the discounted rate, except for the BIG EAST Conference contests versus Syracuse, Villanova, Notre Dame, Connecticut and Seton Hall.
Women's tickets typically priced at $15.00 will be available for purchase at the "Tix the Season" rate of $10.00. The promotion includes general admission seating only. All remaining games for C. Vivian Stringer's hardwood squad will be available for purchase at the discounted rate.
Tickets for Rutgers basketball are available by logging on to the Department of Athletics ticketing website at http://tickets.scarletknights.com. Fans may also contact the Rutgers Athletic Ticket Office in person at the RAC or by calling 866-445-GoRU (4678).
