COLLEGE STATION, Texas. – The Rutgers men’s track and field team will be represented at the 2009 Indoor Track and Field NCAA Championships by freshman Adam Bergo (Plainfield, N.J.) who will be competing in the high jump. The meet will take place on Friday March 13 and Saturday March 14 at Texas A&M University in College Station.

Bergo was the 2009 BIG EAST Indoor Track and Field Champion in the high jump and was also recognized as the Most Outstanding Field Performer. Bergo cleared a height of 7’2 ½’’ (2.20 meters) at the meet and is ranked eighth in the nation in the event (first among the freshmen).
