Rutgers Basketball Holds Open House At The RAC

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (October 18, 2011) - Rutgers Athletics will host an open house for fans interested in purchasing season tickets for men's and women's basketball. The event will be held on Oct. 20, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and fans will have the opportunity to select a seat (This is not for current season ticket holders).
The men's squad officially begins the season on Friday, Nov. 11 against Dartmouth at 7:30 p.m. The Scarlet Knights host 18 games at the RAC, highlighted by matchups against LSU (Dec. 3), Florida (Dec. 29), West Virginia (Jan. 4), Connecticut (Jan. 7), Notre Dame (Jan. 16) and Syracuse (Feb. 19).
The women's team will play 15 games at the RAC, opening the 2011-12 campaign on Sunday, Nov. 13, against California at 2 p.m. The schedule features matchups Boston College (Nov. 16), Temple (Nov. 30), Tennessee (Dec. 13), Louisville (Jan. 14), DePaul (Jan. 24) and Notre Dame (Jan. 31).
