
Jack Named to American Athletic Conference Honor Roll

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (January 6, 2014) – Rutgers University redshirt junior forward Kadeem Jack (Queens, N.Y.) has been named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll. Jack averaged 15.0 points and 5.5 rebounds while shooting 52.4 percent (11-of-21) and 80 percent (8-of-10) from the free throw line in 1-1 week.
Jack shot 8-of-12 to score 18 points, including 14 in the second half, with six rebounds to help Rutgers to a 71-66 win over Temple Wednesday evening at the RAC in the AAC opener. Versus defending national champion and No. 14/10-ranked Louisville on Saturday, he had 12 points and five rebounds while shooting 6-of-7 from the charity stripe.
Jack ranks seventh in the AAC in field goal percentage (.546), 8th in rebounding (6.9) and blocks (1.4), and 12th in scoring (14.1).
It marks the second AAC honor for Jack this season. On Nov. 11, he was named the AAC Player of the Week, becoming the first player to win the new league’s weekly award.
