ROCKVILLE, Md. - Rutgers men's golf tied for sixth with a 902 (304-290-308) total at the 12-team Maryland Terrapin Invitational, played Monday and Tuesday at the Woodmont Country Club.
Round two picked up Tuesday morning after play was suspended Monday due to heavy fog. Golfers resumed their rounds under better conditions and continued into their third and final round. Junior Jonathan Chang led that effort with a two-under-par 70 as he paced the team from start to finish. His four-over 220 (75-70-75) secured a top-10 finish, a tie for ninth only six strokes behind co-medalists Kyle Hart of George Mason and Jonathan Dilanni of Elon. Chang was three-under on par fives, the second-best scoring average posted by any competitor.
