Doubleheader Against Caldwell Cancelled

PISCATAWY, N.J. (Oct. 3, 2014) - The Rutgers softball team returns to fall action, hosting Long Island University on Sunday, Oct. 5 at 1 p.m. The prior game against Caldwell College has been cancelled.
LIU wrapped up the year with an overall record of 22-34 and a Northeast Conference record of 9-7. The Blackbirds advanced to the title game of the NEC Tournament, falling by a score of 5-3 to Bryant.
Following the weekend's games, Rutgers concludes fall competition on the road at Lehigh on Sunday, Oct. 12.
