NOTES
Rutgers overcame a 25-point deficit in the second quarter (35-10) to win 41-38. The 25-point comeback is the largest in school history, topping a 24-point third quarter deficit in a win at Vanderbilt in 2004 (27-3).

Rutgers won its first Big Ten road game and third overall to reach seven total wins. The Scarlet Knights will have a winning season for the eighth time in 10 years.

Rutgers improved to 3-0 this season when scoring at least 40 points. The 491 yards of total offense was the second-most this season for the Scarlet Knights, with only the 496 at Washington State surpassing today's mark.

Rutgers won its fourth game under Kyle Flood when trailing after three quarters.

The offense had four scoring drives of at least 10 plays to bring the season total up to 17.

The offense has allowed just two sacks over the last three games.

The offense scored on all seven of its trips to the red zone to bring the season percentage up to 89 (34-of-38).

Rutgers has three receivers total at least 100 yards (Grant, Carroo, Patton) for the first time in school history.

Rutgers took on Maryland for the first time as a conference opponent today, as the all-time series is now tied at five dating back to 1920.

Rutgers ended the regular season 7-5 overall and 3-5 in the Big Ten. The Scarlet Knights finished tied for fourth in the Big Ten East Division with Michigan, but beat the Wolverines head-to-head. Rutgers also finished ahead of Penn State and Indiana in the Big Ten East Division standings.

PLAYER NOTES
QB Gary Nova
Nova finished 28-of-42 passing for 347 yards and four touchdowns.

Nova had a career-high 28 completions in the game. He is now second in school history with 680 career completions.

Nova had 347 yards passing for his second game of at least 300 yards this season and seventh of his career. He is now at 9,074 career passing yards.

Nova had at least four touchdowns passing for seventh time in his career to extend his program record to 71.

Nova added his seventh career fourth quarter or overtime comeback.

WR Leonte Carroo
Carroo had two receiving touchdowns to bring his season total to 10, tied with Brandon Coleman (2012) and Marco Battaglia (1995) for the most in a single season in school history. He has 19 career receiving touchdowns, one of Coleman's record of 20.

Carroo had multiple touchdowns in a game for the third time this season and for the seventh time in his career.

Carroo went over 1,000 yards for the season with a 42-yard reception in the second half. He is only the sixth player in school history to reach that milestone for a single season.

Carroo has 1,043 yards receiving on the season. He ranks seventh in school history in single-season receiving yards.

WR Andre Patton
Patton set new career-highs with eight catches, 101 yards and two touchdowns. His previous high for catches was three in a game against Wisconsin and Indiana this year.

All three of his career touchdowns have happened in the 12th game of the regular season.

K Kyle Federico
Federico made a go-ahead field goal in the fourth quarter for the second time in his career. He also did that at USF in 2012.

Federico's now has 32 career field goals and made at least one in 11 of the 12 regular season games in 2014.

WR Janarion Grant
Grant had 317 all-purpose yards in the game, with career-bests of 105 receiving and 188 on kick returns. He tied his season long with a 71-yard return to start the second half. The school record for all-purpose yards in a single game is 326 by Terrell Willis vs. Temple (11/5/94).

LB Steve Longa
Longa led Rutgers with eight tackles in the game. He has paced the defense in tackles in 17 of 25 career games.

DT Darius Hamilton
Hamilton tied for the team lead with eight tackles in the win over the Terps.
