Ten Scarlet Knights Named Academic All-Big Ten

ROSEMONT, ILL. (Dec. 10, 2014) - Ten student-athletes of the Rutgers women's volleyball team have been named to the Academic All-Big Ten team, the league announced Wednesday. The Scarlet Knights join 75 total student-athletes of Rutgers Athletics on the list.
To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, student-athletes must be letterwinners who are in at least their second academic year at their institution and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
Rutgers volleyball had the second most student-athletes honored amongst all Big Ten volleyball squads. Illinois and Northwestern had the most with 11 recognized.
