Series Finale at UConn Called Off

STORRS, Conn. (March 30, 2014) - The series finale between Rutgers baseball and UConn has been called off due to inclement weather in the area. There is no makeup date determined.
The Scarlet Knights took the first game, 7-5, and the Huskies won the second, 11-4, to split the first two contests of the series. The teams attempted to play the third game Saturday, but poor conditions forced the game to be halted with one out in the bottom of the first inning.
RU (9-13, 2-3) will return to the diamond Tuesday at Columbia.
