Softball Boasts Perfect APR in 2012-13

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (May 15, 2014) - The Rutgers softball team posted a perfect 1000 Academic Progress Rate (APR) in 2012-13. The Scarlet Knights posted a multi-year score of 988, which is based on the 2009-10, 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13 academic years.
The multiyear score ranks in the 60th-70th percentile among all sports and the 60th-70th percentile within the sport. The APR provides a real-time look at a team's academic success each semester by tracking the academic progress of each student-athlete on scholarship. The APR accounts for eligibility, retention and graduation and provides a measure of each team's academic performance.
