Rutgers Softball Opens Fall Season

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (Sept. 14, 2014) - The Rutgers softball team opens its fall season today at noon, hosting Farleigh Dickinson University in a double header at the Rutgers Softball Complex.
The fall campaign consists of three home contests and one away. All serving as doubleheaders for the squad.
After hosting FDU, Rutgers will welcome Caldwell College on Saturday, Oct. 4. RU wraps up its final home game against Long Island University (Oct. 5)., before traveling to Lehigh (Oct. 12)
Amidst the fall competition, the Scarlet Knights are set to host the Alumni Game on Sunday, Sept. 28. All former players are welcome to participate. Any player looking to join in can contact assistant coach Lindsey Curran at lcurran@scarletknights.com .
