Ninety-One Spring Student-Athletes Named Academic All-Big Ten

ROSEMONT, Ill. -- The Big Ten Conference recognized 91 Scarlet Knights across 10 Rutgers programs Thursday by placing them on the Spring 2015 Academic All-Big Ten list. Combining with the fall and winter honorees, Rutgers had 196 student-athletes achieve Academic All-Big Ten status in 2014-15 (75 fall, 30 winter, 91 spring).
Women's rowing led the way with 16 for the spring, while men's lacrosse and men's track and field each had 14 representatives. In addition, there were 13 from women's lacrosse, 10 from women's track and field, nine from baseball, six from softball, four from women's tennis, three from women's golf and two from men's golf.

To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, student-athletes must be letterwinners who are in at least their second academic year at their institution and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
