2015 (Senior): Appeared in two games with one ground ball.

2014 (Junior): Saw action in games vs. Monmouth (March 8) and at Wagner (Feb. 18).

2013 (Sophomore): Appeared in eight games in his initial season ... collected 16 ground balls and caused two turnovers ... scooped up three ground balls in the opener against Manhattan (Feb. 10) ... posted a career-high eight ground balls and caused one turnover vs. Wagner (Feb. 19) ... collected two ground balls and caused his second turnover of the season in the ensuing game at UMBC (Feb. 23).

2012 (Freshman): Saw action vs. No. 13 Syracuse (April 14) at the ESPNU Warrior Classic inside American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte, N.C.

Prior to Rutgers: Helped St. Paul's High School to the 2010 MIAA State Championship ... also played varsity basketball for St. Paul's, helping the squad claim the 2010 MIAA state title ... played four years of club lacrosse for the Baltimore Lacrosse Club.

Personal: Son of Deborah and Christopher Matanin ... has a brother, Luke, as well as two sisters, Alyssa and Michaella ... double majoring in political science and economics.
