PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Rutgers women's lacrosse returned to the win column in dominant fashion Wednesday with a 19-7 win over Lafayette at High Point Solutions Stadium. Six Scarlet Knights posted double-digit points outputs, as junior Kristina Dunphey (Hillsborough, N.J.) exploded for three goals and three assists.

After the Leopards scored the game's first goal off the stick of Emma Novick, the Scarlet Knights shut the door with authority. RU went on a seven-goal run over the next 10 minutes of action with goals from five different players to establish a 7-1 lead.

Five different players posted multi-goal games in the opening period, including a game-high four goals from senior Halley Barnes (Garnet Valley, Pa.). Dunphey racked up six of her points in the first 30 minutes, tallying three goals and three assists to finish one point shy of her career-high.
