Former Scarlet Knight Chelsey Lee Joins WNBA Ranks

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Former Scarlet Knights Chelsey Lee has signed with the Washington Mystics it was announced on Wednesday. Lee will join fellow Scarlet Knight Kia Vaughn, as well as Kahleah Copper, who was drafted seventh overall by the Mystics last week.
Lee averaged 6.0 points and 5.5 rebounds during her Rutgers career from 2008-13 with 117 appearances. She totaled 10 double-doubles, 29 double figure scoring games and 13 contests with double digit rebounds.
Lee will join the WNBA ranks after playing for Bucheon KEB Hana Bank in South Korea where she averaged 14.9 points and 10.5 rebounds per game. In addition to helping to lead Bucheon KEB Hana Bank to the WKBL finals in 2016, she earned six awards from the WKBL including top rookie and top center.
