Jan 10 | Men's Basketball
PISCATAWAY, N.J. (Jan. 10, 2016) - The Rutgers Basketball Story will make its season debut this Friday (Jan. 13) in high definition on MSG+. The 30-minute show is designed to provide insight into the men's and women's programs, as the Scarlet Knights compete in the Big Ten Conference under head coaches Steve Pikiell and C. Vivian Stringer.
The Comcast Network (TCN) in Philadelphia and the Middle Atlantic Sports Network (MASN) will also televise The Rutgers Basketball Story. The show will feature eight episodes over a nine-week span. It can also be viewed online via RVision presented by AT&T at www.scarletknights.com.
The Rutgers Basketball Story, produced by the Rutgers IMG Sports Network and Awesome Films, picks up where the network broadcasts leave off. With behind the scenes access and candid one-on-one interviews with the coaches, staff and players who are pursuing their dreams playing for the State University. It's the story of their efforts to develop themselves, the program and win championships in the shadow of the world's largest media market.
Bruce Beck, the lead sports anchor at NBC 4 New York and host of NBC 4's popular Sunday night show "Sports Final," is the host.
