Women's T/F Competes at Terrier Invitational

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Rutgers indoor women's track and field team will compete at the Terrier Invitational hosted by Boston University on Friday.
Rutgers returns to the Terrier Invitational having last appeared at the competition in 2016. The meet starts at Friday at 1 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT:
Freshman Olympia Martin secured the 3000m title and the Scarlet Knights captured an additional nine top eight performances at the Texas Tech Invitational last Friday.
SCARLET KNIGHTS TO WATCH
Olympia Martin
Freshman Olympia Martin will race in the 5000m at the Terrier Invitational on Friday. It will be the Ridgewood, New Jersey native's first appearance in the event having captured the 3000m title (10:03.36) last weekend at the Texas Tech Invitational and winning the mile (5:03.99) in the indoor opener at the Towson Tiger Invitational on Jan. 13.
Bryanna Grant
Last week in the jumps, fifth-year senior Bryanna Grant, the Rutgers record holder, made her return to the runway in the triple jump. Grant placed third reaching an ECAC qualifying distance of 12.18m. Her distance is currently sixth in the Big Ten.
Grant holds the RU indoor triple jump record at 12.62m (41' 5") set at last season's ECAC championships. Her ECAC triple jump crown also marked her fourth triple jump title of the 2017 indoor season.
Courteney Campbell
Freshman Courteney Campbell opened her Scarlet Knight career with the Towson Tiger Invitational title in the high jump at 1.70m (5'7") and followed up that performance last week with a sixth place finish in the event at 1.68m (5' 6"). She is currently tied for 10th in the Big Ten.

The Rutgers women's track and field team will compete at the Metropolitan Championships hosted by Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island.
