SCARLET KNIGHTS CLOSE WEEK WITH THE WILDCATS
The Rutgers men's soccer team closes out the week looking to get back on track in returning to Big Ten action and hosting Northwestern on Friday at 7 p.m.

With three games left in conference including Friday's matchup with the Wildcats, RU sits in seventh place in the league standings with Indiana and Penn State also remaining on the schedule.

The Scarlet Knights are coming off a heartbreaking double overtime loss to Howard on Tuesday night. The Bison broke the scoreless stalemate in the 107th minute off a rebound from six yards out.

Rutgers outshot Howard, 16-11, with leading scorer Jordan Hall accounting for five attempts.

ABOUT NORTHWESTERN
The Wildcats come to town at 4-5-4 overall and 0-3-2 in the Big Ten. Northwestern is coming off a pair of draws last week with DePaul (1-1) and Penn State (0-0) after taking on a trio of losses against nationally ranked programs in No. 2 Indiana (2-1), No. 19 Michigan (2-0) and No. 15 Notre Dame (3-0).

Senior midfielder Camden Buescher leads the squad with seven points (3G, 1A) followed by sophomore defender Garrett Opperman with five points (2G, 1A). Freshman midfielder Bardia Kimiavi is the only other multiple goal Wildcat scorers with a pair of tallies.

In goal, sophomore Miha Miskovic has logged seven shutouts on the year along with a 0.92 goals against average and .768 save percentage.

B1G Stats
With two goals against Wisconsin last Sunday afternoon, junior Jordan Hall has totaled nine goals on the season to lead all Big Ten scorers.

Hall sits in first place ahead of Michigan's Umar Farouk Osman with seven goals and Indiana's Andrew Gutman with six goals.

Hall's name is also found atop the league charts in goals per game (0.75), points (19) and points per game (1.58) and second in shots (39) and shots per game (3.23).

Redshirt senior Miles Hackett meanwhile has four assists to his name and is tied for fifth in the league in the category.
