BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (Oct. 13, 2018) – Rutgers volleyball took a straight set loss at Indiana in Big Ten action on Saturday evening.

KNIGHT NOTES
- The Scarlet Knights notched double-digit blocks for the 13th time this season overall, and fourth time in Big Ten competition. Saturday's performance ups their season average to 2.9, which ranks 11th in the country.
- Rutgers held Indiana to a .135 hitting percentage, a Big Ten low for the Scarlet Knights in 2018.
- The Scarlet Knights had 44 digs to Indiana's 41.
- Freshman outside hitter Anastasiia Maksimova posted a career high for kills in a conference match with seven, adding an assist and two digs while playing in all three sets.
- In addition to freshman setter Inna Balyko's 23 assists, the rookie led Rutgers' blocking efforts with six, including a solo block in the final set.
- Sophomore Kamila Cieslik had a season-high 10 digs, followed by junior libero Karysa Swackenberg and Balyko, who each had nine.
- Set 2 | Kojadinovic was all over a 4-1 run to hand Rutgers its first lead of the evening, a 12-10 advantage. Following a resounding kill off a perfectly timed set from Balyko, Kojadinovic also picked up a block assist and served an ace.
- Set 2 | Out of a timeout and trailing 18-15, Rutgers rallied with kills from freshman middle Merle Weidt, Maksimova and junior middle Jasmine Stackhouse for a 4-1 run to pull within one point.
- Set 3 | Senior outside hitter Sahbria McLetchie bookended a 5-1 run with kills for a 22-19 advantage. Cieslik's clutch kill made it 23-20 before Indiana rallied for the match's final five points in succession.
