MADISON, WIS. – In a tight defensive battle, Rutgers women's soccer and No. 22 Wisconsin played to a 0-0, double overtime draw on Friday evening in Madison.
The Scarlet Knights moved to an overall record of 6-1-4 and Big Ten mark of 2-0-2. The Badgers moved to 8-2-2 overall and 2-1-1 in league action.

Wisconsin's Jordyn Bloom registered three saves in the stalemate, while Cameron Murtha posted the team's only shot on goal.
Rutgers edged Wisconsin, 8-7, in shots, including a 3-1 lead in shots on goal.
THE MATCH
Rutgers and Wisconsin began a defensive battle early in the match. Across the first period, the Scarlet Knights held the Badgers to just four shots on goal.
Returning from the break, RU rattled off five shots to lead the offensive attack, but UW's goalkeeper Bloom responded with five saves in the second period.
Despite extra time, the defensive battle ensued as either side could not break the stalemate.
