PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers Athletics announced today that single game tickets for men's basketball's Garden State Hardwood Classic match-up with preseason No. 12 Seton Hall on Saturday, Dec. 14 at the RAC is sold out. A limited amount of tickets for the rivalry contest are still available via select season ticket packages and flex plans, which can be purchased by calling 1-866-445-GORU (4678) or by clicking here and here.

For additional ticket options, fans can also visit StubHub, the official Fan-to-Fan Marketplace of Rutgers Athletics. Students can begin to claim single game tickets for Seton Hall and the rest of the Scarlet Knights' December home games beginning on Monday, Nov. 25. Student claims for November home games will go live on Monday, Oct. 28.

Attendance has steadily increased under head coach Steve Pikiell. Rutgers experienced five sell-outs at the RAC last season, its most since 2004-05 (seven), as average attendance improved 31.1 % from 2017-18. RU ranked 65th nationally in percent of capacity (78%) out of 353 D-I programs after placing 232nd in 2017-18 (59.49%).

RU was named the Most Improved Team of the 2018-19 season by Sports Illustrated in its year-end wards. The Scarlet Knights improved 70 positions in the Pomeroy ratings, best among all power conference programs.

Currently No. 63 in the Pomeroy Preseason College Basketball Ratings, Rutgers returns three starters and eight scholarships letterwinners from a team that tied for 10th in the Big Ten with seven conference wins, RU's most in league play since 2005-06.
