Tennis Concludes Fall Schedule at the UB Fall Invite

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers tennis wraps up its fall schedule at the UB Fall Invite Nov. 1-3 hosted by Buffalo. The invite features Bowling Green, Cleveland State, Niagara and host Buffalo.
Rutgers made a strong showing at the 2019 ITA Northeast Regional Championships. Five Scarlet Knights qualified for the main singles draw, the most in recent years. Four of which advanced to the round of 64 in singles, as sophomore Sydney Jones led the way with an appearance in the round of 32.
Additionally, the doubles duos of sophomore Tess Fisher and Jones, sophomore Kristiana Zahare and junior Maya Jacobs, and seniors Kat Muzik and Jaci Cochrane all saw action in the main draw.
This weekend, the Scarlet Knights will compete four doubles teams and seven singles players at the fourth and final invite of the fall season.
Rutgers opens its 2020 Spring slate on Friday, Jan 24 with a home match against Army. The start time is set for 1:30 PM at the East Brunswick Racquet Club. The full schedule can be found here.
