BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Rutgers men's and women's cross country competed at the 2019 NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional on Friday, Nov. 15 at the Goodman Campus Cross Country Course in Bethlehem, Pa. The women's 6K race started off the day, followed by the men's 10K race.

The women's team finished 18th in a 31-team field with a team score of 516, while the men's team placed 15th out of 25 squads with a team score of 453.

Leading the Scarlet Knights on the men's side was junior
Patrick Walsh (31:31.9), who took 47th for a top-50 finish. Also adding to the Rutgers point total was senior Nick Pschunder (32:10.1), freshmen
Thomas Hillyer (32:47.3) and
Ryan Mitchell (33:07.4), and sophomore
Will Berger (33:12.1). Junior
Billy Hill (33:21.7) and sophomore
Chris Smith (33:58.0) also raced for RU.

Olympia Martin (21:48.0) was the top finisher for the Scarlet Knights, placing 75th overall, followed by seniors
Stephanie Mauer (22:06.8) and
Lou Mialhe (22:11.2), sophomore
Kayla Rosario (22.23.0) and junior
Kiera Nealon (22:41.0) to round out the point total.
