WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Rutgers volleyball team wrapped up the road portion of the schedule on Wednesday night at Holloway Gymnasium with host No. 17 Purdue taking the season series by scores of 25-14, 25-4, 25-18.

- Set 1 (14-25) | Rutgers captured the opening point off a swing by Yana Kamshilina and added back-to-back kills from Beka Kojadinovic and service ace from Tali Marmen to take an early 5-2 lead. The Boilermakers responded on a 6-0 run to go in front at 8-5 and used a 5-1 run to extend its advantage to 14-8. The Scarlet Knights managed to close the gap with three-straight points capped by the service ace from Inna Balyko,to trail 16-12, but the Boilermakers closed out the set outscoring RU, 9-2, for the win.
- Set 2 (4-25) | Blocks from Jasmine Stackhouse and Tali Marmen at the right pin put a stop to Purdue's 6-1 opening run. The Scarlet Knights, however, were unable to overcome the Boilermaker's .565 hitting percentage.
- Set 3 (18-25) | The Boilermakers' strong hitting continued early in the set with Purdue jumping out to a 12-2 lead. Rutgers did manage to chip away at their deficit, which included five-consecutive points off kills from Stackhouse and Marmen to trail 18-12. Rutgers went on a late 4-1 run which saw block assists by Stasa Miljevic and Kamshilina help keep the Scarlet Knights in the set at 22-17 before Purdue closed out the match.
- The Boilermakers marked the seventh match against a top 25 program as the Scarlet Knights return home for the next three contests against the gauntlet of No. 8 Penn State, No. 7 Minnesota and No. 5 Wisconsin.
The Scarlet Knights host No. 8 Penn State on Sunday, Nov. 24 at noon at the College Avenue Gym.
