NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. – No. 16 Rutgers rowing returns to action on Saturday, April 13 for a Big Ten Double Dual against Michigan State and fifth-ranked Michigan, hosted on the campus of Ohio State.

The Scarlet Knights, who were idle last weekend, earned their first team ranking in program history in the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association/USRowing Coaches Poll on April 3. Rutgers appeared at No. 15 in the poll.

Through two races, Rutgers has defeated ranked opponents in then-No. 20 Duke, No. 15 Minnesota and No.14 Syracuse. The varsity eight has gone 2-0 this season, earning Big Ten Boat of the Week honors following a win in the season opener at the Cooper Sprints.

Rutgers will then compete against Columbia, Wisconsin and Princeton on Lake Carnegie for the Hewitt & Dauphiny Cup on April 27, followed by the Eastern Sprints on May 5 in Worcester, Mass.
